Chemtex® Perfluorinated High-Performance Elastomers

Chemtex I (FFKM) is the first generation of Chemtex elastomers. It is a proprietary alloy of perfluorinated elastomer polymers with a filler system to provide elastomer parts with exceptional chemical resistance, much like PTFE, very low compression set properties and a broad temperature range (20°F to 600°F, -7°C to 315°C).

Chemtex II (PFP) is the next generation of perfluoroelastomers. It has a unique elastomer system composed of a perfluoropolyether and a silicone to produce a perfluoroelastomer with exceptional chemical resistance, similar to Chemtex I, but with extremely low temperature properties (-58°F to 392°F, -50°C to 200°C) and good dynamic properties all at an economical cost.
