TexLok® interbraid, carbon yarn packing treated with
PTFE to prevent carbon migration and provide excellent break-in
qualities with a non-silicone break-in lubricant.
Style 228 is available in the following
cross-section range:
1/8" to 1
1/2" (3.0 mm to 38.1 mm)
Note:Any TexLok® interbraid smaller than 1/4"(6.0 mm) will be square
braided construction.

| UTEX Style 228 is suitable for hydrocarbons, virtually all chemicals, and water services,
including pulp and paper applications.
Style 228 is recommended for rotary and centrifugal shafts.
