TexLok® interbraid, graphite filament yarns coated with graphite powder, and approved for
nuclear service. Meets G.E. spec. NEDC-31735P certified. Style 280 is used only as a buffer,
bull, or end rings in packing assemblies for extrusion control.
Style 280 is available in the following
cross-section range:
1/8" to 1
1/2" (3.0 mm to 38.1 mm)
Note:Any TexLok® interbraid smaller than 1/4"(6.0 mm) will be square
braided construction.

| UTEX Style 280 is suitable for nuclear plant services such as water, steam, oils, and most
chemicals.
Style 280 is recommended for valves and high temperature static applications in the
nuclear industry. Used for bull or end rings only.
