UTEX® "SF" Design V-Packings

The "SF" Design seal rings incorporate a hinge-like feature in the center of each ring. This hinge are allows the sealing lips to remain in contact with the surface being sealed without putting undue stress on the sealing ring itself. The "SF" Design seal ring is designed with mating surfaces that provide a void between rings that acts as a lubrication reservoir. This design helps retard nesting, allows the rings to relax between cycles, and allows lubrication to reach all sealing rings. Utex "SF" Design V-Ring sets are available packaged in complete sets or on an individual component basis. Materials include homogeneous elastomers, fabric/rubber composites, polyurethane, and PTFE.
