-Min. Bolts Torque is calculated based on the max. working pressure rating for the flange at ambient temperature for ASME B 16.5 with A193GrB7 Bolts.

-For elevated temperature, please consult UTEX Sales or Engineering. 

* Max. working pressure is limited by THERMEX™

Installation:
1) Remove old gasket and clean seat area.
2)  Clean and lubricate bolts.
3)  For Raised Face Flange, position THERMEX™ in the middle of the raised area.
     For Flat Face Flange: 
                   THERMEX™ widths smaller than 1/2" - leave twice the width space from the Flange I.D. 
                   THERMEX™ widths equal or greater than 1/2" - leave a single width space from the Flange I.D.
4)  Set the torque to 3/4 of the Recommended Min. Bolts Torque, tighten the bolts near the overlap of gasket then tighten in a criss-cross pattern.
5)  Set the torque to full Recommended Min. Bolts Torque, tighten the bolts near the overlap of gasket then tighten in a criss-cross pattern follow by a final circular bolting pattern.
