Michael
Balas |
Mike
graduated from the
University
of
Lowell
in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and a
minor in Computer Science. In 1990, Mike earned his MBA from Boston
University. Throughout
his career, he has held various leadership positions with increasing
levels of responsibility. Most recently, he served as President of
Danaher's Setra Systems, Dolan-Jenner and Sensors & Controls - Asia
Companies, where he led worldwide operations and consistently delivered
breakthrough growth, customer service and process improvements. In
2006, Mike joined Utex as its CEO and serves on
the Board of Directors. |

Pete Sanchez |
Pete graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1979 where he earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting. Prior to joining Utex, Pete served as the Sr. Vice President of Finance at Border Media Partners. Prior to Border Media Partners, Pete served as Corporate Controller for Denali Inc and CFO of Denali’s Containment Solutions Product Division. Before Containment Solutions, Pete served in various financial leadership positions, including Finance Director for Baker Hughes Inteq’s Latin America Operations, Western Hemisphere Controller for Baker Hughes Milpark Drilling Fluids, and Internal Audit Manager for NL Industries. Pete also worked five years in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand - now PriceWaterhouse Coopers in Houston - where he began his professional career. |

| Mike
joined the AccuSeal Division of Utex in 2001 as the Business Development
Manager. In 2003, he was promoted to Corporate General Sales Manager of
Utex, its divisions and subsidiaries. He was then promoted to Vice
President of Sales and Marketing in 2006. Previously, Mike has held
various management positions with a publicly traded company, including
Division General Manager and Market Manager for the Oil and Gas
Industry. Mike offers over 25 years of polymeric and elastomer materials
and seal expertise to the company. |
