Mechanical Seal Products and Repair

mechanical seal repairLeadership at Utex Industries saw an opportunity to enter the Mechanical Seal Market in 1986 through the acquisition of two well established, small mechanical seal service companies. One of these acquisitions was established in 1962 and had pioneered the aftermarket repair and replacement of common and engineered mechanical seals, while the other had a significant and respected line of component mechanical seals already in use throughout the markets served. These two companies were merged and operated as a Subsidiary Utex Company called Rediseal. By 1988 Utex engineering had developed its first patented mechanical seal design and over the next decade they incorporated numerous additional patented features into a complete line of component & cartridge seals. In 1996 the Rediseal name was dropped and the mechanical seal product line was marketed along-side the other innovative products in the Utex portfolio.

Today, Utex uses the latest advancements in design technology to engineer application specific, custom engineered sealing solutions. From large diameter custom component seals for mixers to high speed multiple seal cartridges for hazardous chemical reactors and pumps, Utex can rise to the challenge of the most demanding applications.

With patented seal designs, universal mechanical repair / replacement capability, and advanced custom engineered solutions, Utex is uniquely qualified to be your one-stop shop for mechanical sealing solutions. Contact us today to find out how we might be able to assist you.
