The
RS-81 & RS-81T (thin cross section) unbalanced shaft seals are designed
for a wide range of process services. O-ring seals come in a variety of materials
for handling various types of fluids, including corrosive liquids.
The positive drive from the shaft to the
primary sealing ring face protects seals from damage due to slippage and
prevents shaft galling. Precision lapped sealing faces provide reliable
performance. The thin cross section RS-81T meets ANSI and other pump requirements
for limited seal cavity dimensions.
The RS-81 and RS-81T are geometrically and
dimensionally equivalent to competitive style seals.
Applications
The RS-81 and RS-81T (this cross-section) come in sizes to fit all
types of rotary shaft equipment from centrifugal and rotary pumps, to
mixers, agitators and autoclaves.
