RS8B Technical Data

For
high pressures and heavy duty applications, the RS-8B shaft seal
features an outside set screw collar that allows seal components to be
removed and installed on a split case pump without removing the upper
half of the case. Outside adjustments make the RS-8B easy to
maintain.
This seal is used in petroleum pipeline
service, boiler feed applications, and other high pressure processing applications.
Since this seal is a cartridge unit, it can be
easily adapted to various operating requirements. The RS-8B is
geometrically and dimensionally equivalent to the John Crane Type 8B.
